In
the valley of Sonnino raises the ancient Monastery of S. Maria delle
Canne, whose historical news are unknown.
What we know today is that at the beginning it was the property of the
Benedectine nuns and it was subjected to the Abbot of Fossanova.
It was a sacred player of prayer and work.
Later on S. Gaspare del Bufalo lived there and from that monastery he
started his preaching.
Today the monastery is tottering and closed
